Maia Gotsadze

In 2001, Maia Gotsadze was awarded the title of a qualified doctor in Georgia. She is a certified doctor-internist (2003), doctor-cardiologist (2006), echo-cardiographer (2008), doctor-trainer (2016), and doctor-researcher for the Society of Rheologists of Georgia (2018). Academic Doctor of Medicine, PhD (2020). At various times, she worked in the emergency cardiology department and intensive care unit of leading Tbilisi clinics, as well as in multi-profile clinics as a doctor-therapist, cardiologist, and cardiac echoscopist. From 2006 to 2020, she was a cardiologist and functional diagnostics doctor at the “N.Kipshidze. Central University Clinic.”. 
2020-2022 “New Vision University Hospital,” Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Beginning in 2024, the head of the Department of Internal Medicine at “Tbilisi First Medical Center.”. 2018-2019: Invited Lecturer at New Vision University in the field of internal medicine. 2019-2021: Assistant Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, New Vision University. 2021-2023 Associate Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, New Vision University. 2022-2023: Invited Lecturer of the Department of Internal Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University.

2023–present: Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University. She is the author or co-author of more than 40 scientific theses and articles. Active participant in practical webinars of the European Association of Cardiology, international and local medical conferences, and scientific seminars. Maia Gotsadze is a member of various local and international networks, including the Georgian Association of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the European Heart Failure Society, the Georgian Heart Rhythm Society “Ritmart,” the Eurasian Association of Therapists, and the Society of Rheologists. She is also a “Journal of Biomedical and Medical Sciences” independent expert in cardiology. 

Sinse is a 2023 ESC Fellow engaged in scientific and clinical activities. Sinse 2023: Vice President and Board Member of the Georgian Association of Therapists.
