Gemma Ortiz Llauradó

Spanish Society of Internal Medicine,
Spain

My journey as a young internist began in 2018, after 5 years of residency in internal medicine in a regional hospital (hospital de Terrassa). My professional activity is medical assistance currently in the internal medicine ward and in the emergency department. However, my professional experience is also extensive in comanagement in the surgical ward, chronic and complex patient health and rapid diagnosis units (dedicated to the early diagnosis of oncological diseases and other potentially life-threatening diseases). I also carry out a monographic consultation on autoimmune systemic diseases. I tutor and monitor practices of medicine students and participate in the training of residents of internal medicine and other specialties. I teach at the University. I am a member of the Training working group of the Spanish society of internal medicine since 2015-2016. In that time, also I began my connection with the EFIM through the young internists until 2020. Since then, I have had the pleasure of being part of the subcomitee of the ECG working group.
