Antonio Gonzalez Fernandez

I completed my medical training at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 1983 and my PhD in Medicine from the same institution in 1991.I practiced as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, until 2015. I completed training as an Executive Master in Management of Health Organization, in ESADE in 2016. I am currently the Chief of the Internal Medicine Department, Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron and has held this role since 2017. I am member of the Sociedad Española de Medicina Interna (SEMI), the European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM) and of the American Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM).
