Aleksandra Kazmierczak

Dr. Aleksandra Kazmierczak is an expert in climate change and human health at the European Environment Agency (EEA). She coordinates the European Climate and Health Observatory – a partnership between the European Commission, the European Environment Agency (EEA), and several other organisations. This initiative aims to help to better understand, anticipate and prevent climate change impacts on human health in Europe. Aleksandra has been working on subjects of adaptation to climate change and social inequalities in relation to environmental conditions for the past 15 years, in research context (University of Manchester and Cardiff University, UK) and at the European Environment Agency since 2017.
