Dilek Yazici

Dr Yazıcı received her medical degree in 1999, from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Medical School, İstanbul, Turkey. She has completed her Internal Medicine residency training in 2004 and Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship at Marmara University Medical School in 2008. She has worked at the same faculty as instructor afterwards. Dr. Yazıcı is currently working as professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Koç University School of Medicine. Her basic interests and focus areas have been diabetes (cardiovascular markers in diabetes mellitus), obesity (prevention of obesity, bariatric surgery for the treatment of obesity) and thyroid diseases (cardiovascular markers in thyroid diseases). She is the vice president of the National Society for the Study of Obesity in Turkiye.
