Nicola Cooper is a specialist in Acute Internal Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor in Medical Education at the University of Nottingham, UK. She is the inaugural Chair of the UK Clinical Reasoning in Medical Education group (www.creme.org.uk).
Nicola’s academic interest is diagnostic error, how people become experts, and the thinking and decision-making processes associated with clinical practice (‘clinical reasoning’). She is author of a number of papers and books, including the latest ABC of Clinical Reasoning 2e (Wiley, 2023).
